Out-of-School Club

The club is open to children that attend full time schooling at Michael Ayres, The Glade, Nyewood Infants & Nyewood Juniors, Rose Green Infants, Rose Green Juniors, Barton's Infants & Laburnum Junior school.

The clubs include:

Breakfast club

The breakfast club which runs from 7.00am to school start time, during this time we will give your child a light breakfast before taking your child to school using a walking bus (not available at the Rose Green schools, Bartons Infants and Laburnum Juniors at present). The activities we provide during these sessions can be limited due to the time allowed but we tend to have quiet activities and also physical games in the hall for those children that show a preference for doing this.

After school club

The after school club runs from school finishing time to 6.00pm where we will pick your child up from their school, then take them back to the base club & give them a snack on arrival before doing their activities. All children from the eight school's are picked up & taken back to the Arena Sports Centre. Children from Michael Ayres, The Glade, Nyewood Infants & Nyewood Juniors are taken back via a walk bus. Children from Rose Green Infants, Rose Green Juniors, Barton's Infants & Laburnum Junior school are picked up by minibus.

The club offer a safe & caring environment where children can participate in a range of activities including sports, games, bouncy castle & general play, as well as quieter activities including using our computers, doing homework or reading. We have a wide range of free-play activities and also a quiet area where we provide books etc for children who need to have some time to relax.

Special activities are organised during each half term for example: wall climbing, trampolining etc.

All activities are fully supervised by qualified staff.

The costs are £4.50 for breakfast club and £8.00 for After school per session and because the club is registered and regularly inspected by OFSTED this means that working parents can claim up to 70% back of the fees you many have to pay!
