Children's Parties

We offer excellent value on a wide range of parties for all ages & interests. Our emphasis is on having fun in a safe environment & making the birthday child feel special. The birthday parties are made up of two parts, the activity & then the food. The activities normally last for one hour (this can be extended at extra cost).

Tumbling Tots - Ages 1-4 years

Knowing how difficult it is to find an indoor fun & safe play area for the younger children which is exclusively used by your party. We have two party areas one in our large Community Room the other in the Dance Studio, both have a bouncy castle designed for 1-4 year olds, soft play equipment, space for party games, tables & chairs for eating & a CD player. Both have either toilets in the room or just outside. This is the perfect self-contained area for your child to enjoy their party. The party lasts for 90 minutes. You may bring your own food or take advantage of hot or cold food menu from our Café. For the Parents that are staying refreshments including Tea & Coffee are available to purchase. This offers great value. This party does not include a party supervisor & is only available on Saturdays & Sundays.

Fun & Games (with supervisor*) - Ages 4-10 years

This is our most popular party, mainly due to our enormous bouncy castle. The area also includes a soft play area for the younger children as well as balls & hoops, basketball hoops and racquet sports. Held in our main hall on two badminton courts means there is plenty of space to run around.

Football (with supervisor*) - Ages 5+ years

This is held in one half of our main hall which gives plenty of space to practice your techniques, dribble around the goalie then play a game! Will you be the next Stephen Gerrard?

Basketball (with supervisor*) - Ages 7+ years

Play a game, shoot some hoops, or show off your skills - Your choice! Half the main hall is used to play a fast moving basketball game.

Trampolining (with Instructor)

We have just purchased four new large trampolines & together with our fully qualified trampolining coaches we are able to ensure children have a great party. Numbers are limited to 12 children for safety reasons. Trampolining is always popular with girls & boys alike.

Pool Party - Ages 8+ years

Come and enjoy a fantastic pool party in the Arena Swimming pool, filled with floats, balls games and toys!! Invite up to 25 friends (must be over 8).

Disco Party - Ages up to 14 years

Hire out the Arena Cafe for a fabulous disco party! Bring in your own food and music and enjoy a party for two hours! Available Fridays and Sundays 6pm-8pm.

How do I book a party?

It's simple. Just telephone or enquire at Reception a party booking form needs completing & the activity charge needs paying, then it's booked. The good news is that you only pay for the amount of children that turn up for the food.

What are the options for food?

Hot Food - £3.50 per child includes a choice of chicken nuggets, fish fingers, pizza or sausage, all with chips, you decide on the day. Squash & water is available during the meal.

Cold Food - £3.50 per child. This is aimed at the 5 year olds and under. It includes a choice of sandwiches, 3 cocktail sausages, 3 cheese squares, selection of carrot & cucumber sticks & 2 chicken nuggets. Alternatives may be supplied if food items are unavailable.

Desert - 50p per child includes jelly & ice cream. You can also bring your own cake (no charge)

Own Food - why not hire one of our rooms and bring your own food, prices are available upon request.

The Arena staff supervise the children during the activity (except Tumbling Tots), not whilst they are having their food. It is recommended that 30-45 minutes is sufficient time for the children to eat their food. We recommend a ratio of one adult/staff member to every ten children, this ratio should be reduced if under eight years old.

Cancellations made within 14 days of the party will incur the full fees unless the place is re-sold.
