19/02/2009 - New third generation surface!

New to the Arena Sports Centres £6 million facilities are the 3 x 5-a-side floodlit third generation synthetic football pitches. The surface is a 50mm pile height carpet with sand and rubber infill. Underneath there is a 15mm thick specially designed shockpad. It feels very similar to playing on grass so football boots can be worn for extra grip.

From Monday 2nd February 2009 your football team or organisation can have 'One Free' try out of this new surface! Just phone the Arena Sports Centre and ask for Pauline or Jackie to book a one hour session. If then you feel you would like to book continuously you will be able to do so at an excellent price.

08/10/2008 - New Centre Manager

Lee Payne has recently been appointed 'Arena Sports Centre Manager'. Lee has 17 years leisure centre experience and during this time graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University. And for the last 7 years has been managing in-school leisure facilities. Lee has said if you haven't had a look around the Arena to come down and he will show you around the great range of facilities.

08/10/2008 - New After School Club Manager

Karen Fearns has been appointed 'After School Club Manager'. Karen already has good knowledge of the area and many of the children as she was previously Deputy Manager of Stepping Stones Nursery.

Our outdoor tennis courts will soon undergo a complete rebuild and as a result will not be available from the 26th July until early 2009.

Plans for the new Bognor Regis Community College are on show in the Arena Sports Centre Café. Come & have a look at this £35 million new school which will be located next to the Arena Sports Centre.

The Out-of-School Club have secured a minibus to pick up children from the two Rosegreen Schools & Laburnham.
